Knives are a tool, and to work well, they need to be maintained, which means frequent sharpening. In addition to the knives I make and am glad to resharpen, I offer sharpening, repair, and restoration services for other maker’s knives. The cost is $2 per inch for basic sharpening. If the knife is damaged with a chip or other similar issue, I can likely regrind the knife to repair it and put a new edge on it. If you have an heirloom or sentimental blade of any sort that needs restoration, I enjoy the possibility of bringing it back to life. Both of these services are priced individually and you will be given a quote prior to work starting. If you’re interested in any of these services, please reach out to me via email. Most sharpening can be completed within a day or two.
